• Married Couples Ministry upcoming event: 
  Walk by Faith - Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. Meet at the Blue Wahoo Stadium.
• Prayer, Praise and Preaching will be held on Wednesdays, September 2, 9th and 16th at 6:00 p.m. Watch the announcements for the start of ROCK Night.
• GLRs Christian Leadership School will be held September 2-11. Our certified school will offer Course 9004 - Writing Techniques 1. This course is required for Certified Christian Educators and is open to all adults who want to improve their writing skills. Students will bmeet at 5:30 p.m. on September 2nd to schedule the required ten hours. Click here to register. 

EVANGELISM & OUTREACH

• Our next Food Giveaway will be Thursday, August 13 at 8:00 a.m.
• The Sisters of Gideon will meet Saturday, August 16 at 11:00 a.m. in the Women's Sunday school class. They will discuss the book "Get Out of Your Head" by Jennie Allen. The ISBN number to order the book is 978-1-60142-964-3. Please do not let purchasing or reading the book discourage you from attending. Come for the fellowship with the Sisters of Gideon.
• The Summer Bowling League continues this Sunday. Please arrive early if you need to get your shoes and/or find a bowling ball.

• The Transportation Ministry is looking for volunteer drivers for Sunday pick-ups. If you are interested, please see Vanessa Brown (Transportation Ministry Leader) or call the church office.

• The Pastor's Aide Ministry is asking all members to give a love offering to our Pastor who goes above and beyond for us.  Envelopes are available and you may give a love token via eGivings (online payment system).  "We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 ESV).  If you give, please give what the Lord has laid on your heart to give!
