I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Christ. Welcome to the Body of Believers who worship here at Greater Little Rock Baptist Church.
This web page is designed to define, describe and disseminate information about us so that we may present ourselves as a decently organized Holy Body of Believers unto Christ (1Corinthians 14:40). We endeavor to be like Christ everyday; therefore, we submit to His Word in its entirety, both the Old and New Testament.
Here at Greater Little Rock, it is our desire to educate the one not in the knowledge of Jesus as a personal Savior, to aid in bridging the gap between those who once walked in His favor and may be farther away from Him now, and to provide the atmosphere where the Saints of God can freely worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. In other words, we aim to call sinners to repentance, reclaim the backslider and to edify the Saints of God.
As the Under-shepherd of this flock, I implore each and every one of you to prayerfully consider your place in the Body of Believers. You are welcomed and encouraged to work out (of) your own salvation with us.
The day has changed. It is now a day where almost anything goes. Rules and regulations are seemingly made "on the fly", apparently depending on who infringes upon whom. Communication and information even have a way of skipping certain people. However, the church of our God should not be of this state of mind. Although we are in the world, we should endeavor to remember that we are not to be of the world. (Romans 12:2; John 15:19). We should love one another.
In order to be successful in reaching those who do not know the Lord in the pardon of their sins, to bridge the gap for those who are out of fellowship with the Lord, through the church, and to edify/build up those who currently know and love the Lord, we must be resolved to be a never-ending program of study (II Timothy 2:15). Therefore, I invite you to dedicate yourself to a corporate attempt to learn more about the Lord, that you may also learn more about yourself. For it is only when we truly see ourselves is when we can truly see the Lord.
Again, I excitedly welcome you here and I look forward to you helping us call, reclaim and edify in the name of the Lord!
In His name and for His service...
